Set in Arezzo, Tuscany, amongst rolling hills, golden sunsets, and historic farm houses, our home at Palazzo Gatteschi for 7 days creates the perfect backdrop for deep renewal. Nourishment is central to our experience. Our private chef prepares vibrant, protein-rich vegetarian meals using locally sourced ingredients, highlighting the best of Tuscan cuisine while supporting your body through the physical demands of the retreat. Every dish is crafted to fuel your practice and delight your senses.​

Feels like home

Nestled among the gentle hills of Casentino in Tuscany, Palazzo Gatteschi is a beautifully restored 18th-century residence once the country home of the noble Gatteschi family. The property spans over a thousand square meters of serene gardens shaded by majestic oaks, horse chestnuts, and cypresses, complemented by an inviting outdoor pool. Its interiors, featuring frescoed ceilings, exposed stone walls, and antique fireplaces, have been lovingly updated with contemporary design touches that preserve the historic charm.

 

Accommodations include six individually styled rooms and three apartments, each named for women in the Gatteschi lineage, offering a personal dialogue between past and present. Palazzo Gatteschi combines refined elegance, heartfelt hospitality from its ancestral stewards, and a timeless Tuscan ambiance.

Savor delicious and nourishing meals prepared by our private chef Anna Gugl with love and mindfulness. Our culinary team crafts wholesome vegetarian and vegan dishes using locally sourced ingredients, designed to support your yoga practice and promote overall well-being. Anna is a certified nutritionist and yoga enthusiast. The focus of her work is on the combination of a gut-friendly diet and gentle, individual strengthening of the body through protein-rich vegetarian dishes. Her goal is to support people in finding more harmony between body, mind and soul. Nutrition meets science meets taste in her thoughtfully and lovingly prepared meals.

How to get there

Closest Airports:

Florence (75 minutes); Pisa (2 hours).

We recommend trying to arrive in Florence if possible. If you fly into Pisa, the train between Pisa and Florence is a little more than1 hour with trains running almost every hour if spending time in Pisa before. A shared taxi/shuttle will be organized from Florence city (location TBD) and the costs shared between students. We recommend arriving to Pisa or Florence a day before the retreat so that it will be easy to catch the shuttle bus organized for the 20 th of September from Florence. Rental cars are also easily available if students prefer to explore the surrounding area.

Airport to Villa:

Private taxi 1-way is approximately 200 Euro if choosing to travel solo outside

of the group shuttle bus.
