Coming from a background of 20 years of ballet and contemporary dance training, Rachel has always been interested in working with the body and the amazing capacity our bodies have. Rachel has been practicing yoga for 14 years and has taught over 5000+ hours of yoga classes and teacher trainings. Originally from the U.S.A., she has been a lead teacher in over 30 yoga teacher training courses world-wide and in recent years split her time teaching yoga between India and Albania.

Rachel is the co-founder, owner, and main teacher at Tirana Yoga studio in Tirana, Albania. She also spent 6 years as Lead Teacher and Course Director of Teacher Trainings with Sampoorna Yoga, a yoga teacher training school and retreat center in south India. Teaching on both 200-hour and advanced 300-hour yoga courses, she taught Vinyasa Flow, Yin, and Restorative yoga classes, as well as applied anatomy, teaching methodology, adjustments, and alignment classes, in addition to organizing the teaching team and course content. She currently teaches on 200-hour and 300-hour courses mainly in Europe—in the Balkans and Mediterranean region. Rachel is also a certified Thai Massage Therapist.

Rachel’s teaching style is a blend of her own experience— drawing not only from the physical practice of yoga in both its Eastern and Western forms, but also from traditional yoga philosophy and meditation techniques in order to develop an integrative, creative, fluid class that is energizing, engaging, and inspiring for all. She is a firm believer that yoga is for everyone—meeting people on their path where they are, in order to help them move forward with awareness, mindfulness, and heightened consciousness.

Embarking on her yoga teaching journey in 2017, Nathalie, with a  background of 12 years in ballet dancing, finds fulfillment in traversing the world, sharing a profound passion for yoga, mindfulness, and well-being. Her teaching journey spans yoga studios in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK, extending to hosting retreats, workshops, and dedicating the last five years to training yoga teachers in India and Europe.

Over the last years she has taught several 200hr and 300hr Yoga Teacher Trainings in India with Sampoorna Yoga School & Sthira Yoga School. She taught Vinyasa Flow, Yin, and Restorative yoga classes, as well as teaching methodology, adjustments, and alignment classes.

Specializing in dynamic Vinyasa flow, Nathalie offers a diverse range of classes from the energetically spicy and rocket-inspired Vinyasa yoga to the serenity of yin yoga, embodiment, and meditations grounded in somatic practices. She prioritizes anatomical fundamentals, intelligent sequencing, and creating an environment where the body feels good, providing students with the necessary space for personal evolution.

Beyond the mat, Nathalie has grown an Instagram account over the past five years, sharing insights about yoga and helping fellow teachers in her mentorship programs growing their own businesses. Since spring 2024, Nathalie is the owner of the online yoga studio, Embodied Space, where she is offering on-demand & live classes for her community on a monthly membership basis.

With a background in Economics & Law and a decade of experience in Online Marketing and Social Media, she brings a wealth of knowledge beyond the yoga studio, enriching her holistic approach to well-being.

Use the free time of the day for your own personal adventures. If you are only joining for the retreat, take your time  and discover the surrounding area. Treat yourself to a break, let your soul dangle and spend the day in nature, at the beach or go hiking. Feel with all your senses, be active in your power or enjoy doing nothing to the fullest. As you can see, there are no limits. Live yourself, live now and just be you.
